    Hi all, hope you're all off to a great new year! I am experimenting with shipping via UPS now which apparently confused the heck out of the Shopify platform I currently use resulting in a "We don't ship there message". So sorry. We ship just about anywhere. And speaking of shipping, I want you to know that I charge what I am charged. I do not mark up shipping or add handling fees.

Greetings fellow coffee aficionados.

A brief heads up to all who venture forth on this site.  First, let it be known that we roast our seeds (beans) lightly. Pretty much a city roast. That is because we purchase our seeds for their flavor, their uniqueness, and their frequent rarity. As such, our seeds do not like to be over roasted. Second, if you purchase our seeds or any seeds of this quality, so as not to waste your hard earned cash, USE THE RIGHT WATER!! RO and distilled are only useable (heck drinkable!) if you've put the right minerals back in. Third Wave water has packets just for that purpose which will soon be available here. Third, spend some bucks on a decent grinder. Blades are not cool!! Conical (or better yet flat) burr grinders provide a consistent grind size that your herb grinder or Vita-Mix cannot. There are all kinds of brew methods out there. Have fun experimenting but know this. Most drip brewers cannot get hot enough for proper extraction. Shoot for 204 degrees.  After you brewed this fine beverage, let it COOL some.....we find 120 degrees F is a nice round number. Well, unless of course you LIKE flavorless pain....

And lastly, we roast about 2-3 times a week depending on volume. Most of the time you’ll receive your coffee when it’s still outgassing.....some coffees aren’t rid of their CO2 for 5-7 days! So no, fresh off the roast is not desirable! It's gassy!
